An old-world deli with a modern edge, Fleshik’s Sandwiches, Nosh and Whiskey, recently opened on Beverly Boulevard. Located at the former Urban Garden spot and next to our beloved Sweet Rose Creamery, the kosher shop, headed by chef Eric Greenspan, offers plentiful sandwich options including crispy dried salami with fried pickles, smoked salmon, rotisserie lamb, chicken schnitzel and salami with onion rings. Bread choices include challah, white, wheat and gluten-free, but rumor has it Greenspan is sourcing a kosher rye. The venue is complete with a full liquor license.
